Turks and Barbadians can now apply for a Turkey visa online. Turkish visas are now available online through the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs website. Applicants must first have a valid passport and visa application form completed and signed. They then need to upload their passport photo, fill out the visa application form, and pay the required fees. The process takes around two weeks to complete. How to apply for a Turkey visa
If you are a citizen of Turkey and you want to visit Barbados, then you can now apply for a visa online. All you need to do is go to the website of the Barbados Ministry of Foreign Affairs (www.mofa.gov.bb) and fill out the application form. You will need to provide your passport information, as well as your nationality and date of birth. Once you have completed the form, click on the ‘submit’ button and your application will be forwarded to the Barbados Embassy in Ankara, Turkey. If you are a citizen of Barbados, Turks and Caicos, or the British Virgin Islands and want to visit Turkey, you now have the opportunity to apply for a visa online. The Turks and Caicos Islands and Barbados have been added as approved countries for visa-free travel for citizens of the European Union, Canada, the United States (except people from Iran, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria or Yemen), Australia, Japan and New Zealand. Citizens of these countries do not need a visa to visit Turkey for up to 90 days.
The British Virgin Islands will also be joining this list soon. All three countries are included in the Global Entry program which makes it easier for travellers to get approved for visas when they arrive at US airports. The website has detailed instructions on how to apply including information on what documents you will need to provide. You will also be asked to answer some questions about your visit such as whether you are travelling for business or pleasure and whether you will be staying in any particular city or town while in Turkey.
