Norway and Sweden Visa Requirements
If you are planning to visit one of the Scandinavian countries – Norway, Sweden or Denmark – and you have an Indian passport, don´t worry. All three countries are quite lenient when it comes to issuing visas, provided that you meet the necessary requirements.
Norway is particularly easy to get a visa for if you have an Indian passport. In fact, according to the Norwegian Directorate of Immigration, a visa is not even required if your purpose of travel is tourist-related and you stay for no more than 24 days in any 90-day period.
To qualify for a tourist visa in Norway, all you need is a valid passport, two passport-size photographs (taken within 6 months of the application), and proof that you have sufficient funds to cover your expenses while in Norway. However, there are some exceptions to this rule – for instance, if you are traveling as part of an organized group or as part of an official delegation.
